Researchers say New Zealand needs to beef up its workplace health and safety system, to better monitor the long-term consequences of exposure to cancer-causing agents throughout the course of people's careers.

Dr Amanda Eng and Professor John Potter were interviewed on RNZ's The Detail as part of the podcast  The cancer-causing dangers in our workplaces on 30 June following up on their Briefing Carcinogen exposure in Aotearoa workplaces is unacceptably high. Dr Eng was interviewed for a news item on Stuff,  Shift work among the top 10 carcinogens in NZ workplaces on 21 June. The Conversation also published an article from the authors - NZ workers have unacceptably high exposures to carcinogens – they need better protection and long-term health monitoring on 29 June.
